A “good project” for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Sault Ste. Marie is even better because it's a grassroots venture, Bishop Jean-Louis Plouffe says. He is pleased parishioners at the Sault's oldest Catholic church are backing a $4-million project that will add gardens, a multi-use building, repository and columbarium to the 138-year-old place of worship. The Journey has attracted about 200 volunteers.
