March for Life programs and others

The right to life is the first among human rights – Pope Francis

The Annual National March for Life, Canada’s biggest pro-life gathering, will not be done on the streets this year but will become a virtual, online event. EWTN has always been a strong ally of Canada’s March for Life and will continue to support it this year by airing two special programs, i.e.,

Thursday, May 14; 12PM-1PM ET
Canadian National Mass for Life; Notre Dame Cathedral in Ottawa
Celebrated by the Most Reverend Terrence Prendergast, S.J., Archbishop of Ottawa-Cornwall; to be aired on EWTN and livestreamed at MarchForLife.ca and on our website.

Thursday, May 14; 1PM-2:30 PM ET (Replay-10:30 PM ET)
‘Be Not Afraid’ Canadian Pro-Life Special on EWTN
Hosted by EWTN’s Doug Keck, with special guests international pro-life speakers Kevin Dunn and Stephanie Gray and Matthew Wojciechowski, VP for Campaign Life Coalition, organizers of March for Life. This special will focus on important pro-life issues facing Canadians, and the practical solutions for rebuilding a culture of life. To be aired on EWTN and  livestreamed at MarchForLife.ca and on our website.

EWTN will also complement the day program with the airing of its  EWTN Pro-Life Weekly show hosted by Catherine Hadro at 10:00 PM ET.

March for Life will also be livestreaming on its website - MarchForLife.ca – several activities : a pro-life film festival from May 10-12 at 8 p.m. ET (includes the May 12 showing of Fatal Flaws: Legalizing Assisted Death by Kevin Dunn) that will include a talk with Euthanasia Prevention Coalition’s Alex Schadenberg; virtual candlelight vigil will also be livestreamed at 8 p.m. ET on May 13;  and a virtual rally with guests from Canada and around the world on May 14, at 2:30-4:30 p.m. ET.
