Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Typically run over 8-12 weeks, it allows anyone to explore life, faith and God in a friendly, open and informal environment. In each session, there is food, a short talk, and discussion in small groups. Everything you need to run Alpha is available online and free to download.

Who is running the program? - (St. Veronica's, St. Gregory's and Holy Family - through a joint program in Sault Ste. Marie). Please contact the Diocese to add your church to this list if you have run the program.What can you expect? - Typically a meal, a 30 minute video, and small group discussion - a chance to share your thoughts without being corrected or judged, or you don't have to say anything if you don't want to. No pressure!Is there a cost? - No cost! You can contribute a few dollars towards the meal if you wish, but there is no obligation.Is there childcare - Some churches offer free childcare provided securely on-site. For children of any age, including infants. Just let them know ahead of time how many children and their ages.
